Pretending. I had a vivid imagination as a child, at times pretending I was a dog, a horse, an antelope. I would run around on my hands and knees convinced I was part of the animal kingdom. Today, I still pretend – sometimes that I am someone else, doing something extraordinary, imagining myself anywhere but the present. It is an escape, albeit a creative one, but we all must come back to our real selves and come to terms with who we are and our purpose on Earth.
